Photographer Greg Harvey, 51, took the photos of the elusive massive cat in Patagonia, Chile, to take a look at his expert guides. 

When the observant found the puma with no issues, it may not be so uncomplicated for the rest of us. 

Pumas, also known as cougars or mountain lions, can be uncovered throughout north and south America and generally are living in mountainous locations.

Male pumas can mature to 2.4metres in the wild and weigh an typical of 62kg. Women are shorter and weigh all-around 42kg. 

Pumas residing close to the Equator are smaller sized than those residing more north or south. 

The major cats are solitary and can travel extra than six miles each and every night in search of their prey, generating it even more challenging to keep track of them down.
