  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest plus 2 tablespoons juice (from 1 regular or Meyer lemon), divided
  • 2 tablespoons grated navel or Cara Cara orange zest (from 2 oranges), divided
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup (3 1/2 ounces) powdered sugar
  • 2 – 3 Meyer lemons, Cara Cara oranges, and/or navel oranges, peeled and sliced, for garnish

Directions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 325F. 

Step 2: Grease and flour a 9-inch cake pan.

Step 3: Whisk together cake flour, semolina flour, baking powder, and salt – set aside. 

Step 4: In a mixer, combine sugar, olive oil, milk, lemon zest, orange zest, and vanilla.

Step 5: Beat until well mixed. 

Step 6: Add eggs one at a time, then gradually add flour mixture to it.

Step 7: Pour batter into the pan and bake for 32-38 minutes, 

Step 8: Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack.

Step 9: Whisk powdered sugar, lemon juice, and orange zest for preparing the glaze. 

Step 10: Pour over the cooled cake and let it harden. Garnish it with fruits.

Ingredients

  • 18 Ounces of cream
  • ¼ bar of butter
  • 75 gms of sugar
  • Some salt 
  • ¼ ounce of weed
  • 4 Bananas

  • Rum 

Directions

Step 1: Heat the cream in a pan over medium heat until it boils.

Step 2: Heat the butter with sugar and a pinch of salt in another pan.
