Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was dropped on 0 and he made Royal Challengers Bangalore pay with a brutal onslaught in the final of their innings in Match 19 of IPL 2021 on Sunday. Jadeja hit as many as 5 sixes against Purple Cap holder Harshal Patel who conceded 37 runs in the horror over.
Notably, Jadeja has equalled the record set by Chris Gayle for the most number of runs scored by a batsman in an over. Jadeja hit 36 runs in the over by Harshal Patel after 5 sixes, a double and a boundary in the final delivery of the innings. CSK went from 154 for 4 to 191 for 4 in a span of 6 legal deliveries against RCB at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja also equalled the record for the most number of sixes hit by a batsman in an over in the IPL.
