A spokesman for Air India reported: ‘Air India flight AI 111 scheduled to run Delhi-London Heathrow on April 10, 2023 returned to Delhi soon following departure owing to the critical unruly behaviour of a passenger on board.
‘Not heeding verbal and penned warnings, the passenger ongoing with unruly behaviour such as leading to actual physical damage to two of the cabin crew customers.
‘The pilot in command made a decision to return to Delhi and the passenger was handed over to the stability staff upon landing.’
They added: ‘An FIR [first information report] has also been lodged with the police. Security, security and dignity of all on board is essential to us at Air India.
