Deleting your Mega account is a permanent process. Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to recover any of your data or access your account again.

Who can access my mega account?

If you want to give someone access to your account, but don’t want them to be able to see all of your files, you can create a “shared folder” for them. This is a folder that you can add files to, and that they can access, but that isn’t connected to your main account.

You can also choose to make your account “private”, which means that only you can access your files. If you make your account private, you can still share files and folders with other MEGA users, but they won’t be able to see your account or your files unless you give them access.
