- Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore will clash in Match 19 of IPL 2021 on Sunday
- RCB, unbeaten in 4 games so far, top the table with 8 points ahead of 2nd-placed CSK
- CSK lead RCB 16-9 in the head-to-head battle in the IPL and will be looking to stretch their record in Mumbai
Royal Challengers Bangalore coach Simon Katich is expecting a thrilling game at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday when his team locks horns with Chennai Super Kings in Match 19 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.
Virat Kohli’s RCB is the only team which is yet to lose a game in IPL 2021 but Katich knows that maintaining the winning momentum won’t be easy to maintain when they come up against MS Dhoni’s CSK, who are coming into this game on the back of a hat-trick of wins in their previous 3 encounters.
RCB lead the points table with 4 wins from 4 games but can lose the position to CSK, who occupy the 2nd spot, if they lose today as the 3-time champions have a better net run-rate.
“Dhoni is a master, isn’t he? They are sitting at the top with three wins, they have had a fantastic start, they have fantastic players, we have a huge amount of respect for CSK, it is going to be great game, we have seen some great games in Mumbai already.
“CSK has a very damaging batting lineup but we know our bowling lineup has performed well this season,” said Katich in a video posted on the official Twitter handle of RCB.
RCB and CSK have been trading places at the top of the points table over the last two weeks and will be at it again when they take the field in Mumbai.
CSK lead RCB 16-9 in the head-to-head battle in the IPL and will be looking to stretch their record today. But RCB have been performing like well-oiled machine in this edition after having made their best start to an IPL season and will be the favourites heading into the crucial match on Sunday.
