A package deal of ‘suspicious meat’ that was discovered in the suitcase of a suspected cannibal killer at an airport in Portugal is claimed to be human.
Begolea Mendes Fernandes, 26, was arrested at Lisbon airport on suspicion of murdering 21-year-old Alan Lopes in Amsterdam on Sunday.
Fernandes is reported to have fled the Dutch funds and boarded a flight to Lisbon wherever he was caught with a suitcase that contains pieces of meat and bloodied apparel.
Forensic professionals have now analysed the contents of his luggage at a professional lab and have reportedly established that they are human continues to be.
Even so the stays are not that of Lopes who Fernandes is suspected of murdering in northern Amsterdam on Sunday, experiences Portuguese media.

A spokesman for the Portuguese Borders and Immigration Assistance mentioned: ‘A 26-year-aged man suspected of murder in the Netherlands was arrested at Lisbon Airport on Monday.
‘He was donning clothing with blood on them and experienced a package deal containing items of meat.
‘He was held at the airport’s border manage right after the authorities turned suspicious about the legality of the Italian ID card he presented.
‘He was initially detained over suspicions he was travelling on falsified paperwork ahead of it was subsequently discovered he was suspected of committing a murder in the Netherlands the working day prior to.’

‘The male is suspected of possessing been included in the demise of a 21-12 months-outdated gentleman who was found in a residence on Vegasstraat in North Amsterdam on the night of Sunday February 26.’
