How to Un Update Instagram

228

If you’re anything like me, you’re constantly updating your Instagram. Every time you see a new filter or a new way to edit your photos, you just have to try it out. And while that’s all well and good, sometimes you just want to go back to the way things were. If you’re looking for how to unupdate Instagram, here’s how to do it.

First, go to your settings. Under the account tab, scroll down until you see the ” Temporarily disable my account” link. Click on that, and enter your password when prompted.

Once your account is disabled, all of your photos, videos, and profile information will be hidden from the public. However, your account will still exist, and you can reactivate it at any time by logging back in.

If you’re looking to delete your account entirely, you can do that from the same settings page. Scroll down to the bottom and you’ll see the “Delete My Account” link. Click on that, and enter your password when prompted.

Once you delete your account, it’s gone for good. So if you ever decide you want to come back to Instagram, you’ll have to start from scratch.

Either way, unupdating your Instagram is a pretty easy process. So if you’re ever feeling overwhelmed by all the updates, or you just want to go back to a simpler time, give it a try.

How to Revert Back to an Older Version of Instagram

How to un update Instagram? It’s easy to get stuck in a rut with your Instagram feed. If you’re feeling like you’re stuck in a scroll-and-repeat cycle of the same posts, it might be time for a change. One way to do this is to revert back to an older version of Instagram.

While you can’t exactly go back in time, you can change the order of your feed so that you see posts from people you follow chronologically, instead of based on Instagram’s algorithm. This means you’ll see posts from everyone you follow in the order that they were posted, instead of what Instagram thinks you want to see.

To do this, open up the Instagram app and go to your profile page. Then, click on the three lines in the top-right corner of the screen and scroll down to “Switch to chronological order.” Once you do this, you’ll start seeing posts in the order that they were posted, from oldest to newest.

If you want to go back to the default setting, which is based on the Instagram algorithm, simply repeat the steps above.

How to Downgrade Instagram

If you’re not happy with the new Instagram update, or you simply want to go back to a previous version, here’s how to downgrade Instagram.

First, uninstall the current version of Instagram from your device. Next, go to your device’s Settings, then go to iTunes & App Store. Under the Automatic Downloads section, make sure that the Updates toggle is turned off.

Now, go to your computer, and open iTunes. Connect your device to your computer, and select your device from the sidebar. Click on the Apps tab, and make sure that the Automatically sync new apps checkbox is unchecked.

Next, find the Instagram app in your iTunes library, and click on the tiny X next to the app’s name. Confirm that you want to delete the app.

Now, download the previous version of Instagram from an app repository like iMazing (https://imazing.com/app/instagram). Once the app is downloaded, connect your device to your computer, and drag-and-drop the app icon into the Applications section of your device in iTunes.

Click on the Sync button, and wait for iTunes to sync your device. Once your device is synced, you should now have the previous version of Instagram installed!
